April Scrapping

Lisette here and welcome to my post for April.

I have a couple of layouts from our trip to Spain & Portugal last year.

I love the character of all the old doors.   Its hard to imagine all the people who have walked through them over the centuries.

My next layout is from Porto.  Although I am not keen on heights, we took the cable car up the hill in time for sunset.

SUNFLOWER DREAMING

 Hello again all my lovelies. 

I have surprised myself and managed to get my blog post done for this month, I know, shock of shocks.

For this month I have two beautiful pages featuring my absolutely gorgeous little neighbour, again, Alaina. Her mother had a photo shoot done in a sunflower field and the pics are just breathtaking.

For this page I inked some leaves in a green and swiped a brown around the edges for some depth. The two hearts had the same brown ink on the skinny heart and a nice beige, very close to the colour of her dress, used on the fuller heart.

The second page is probably my favourite, this photo shows her beautiful face with just a hint of sunshine on it.

The stencil, lace, scrap words and bling were just perfect, the doorway was inked, painted with crackle paint and cut in half to help frame the pic.

Catching up

 Well here I am!!!! Finally have managed to get my act together and have some pages for this month.

First up is my gorgeous little neighbour, Alaina, she is so beautiful and those eyes, wow!!!!

I used some beautiful lace, chipboard leaves (inked with a really lovely green) a couple of music notes and the title which is perfect for this photo.

Next is a lovely photo of my bestie Kim taken at Rustic Nature, Neville, when we were at the November Scrapmatts Retreat. 

I used a limited edition title for this that was only available for those who attended plus a couple of other pieces all inked in the same colour.

February Scrapping

Hi everyone

I'm back again with two more layouts from our trip to Europe last year.

We finished our trip in England spending a couple of days with hubby's cousin and uncle.  They live in a small village north of London.  Who can resist a drink at the local pub along the way.

My next layout is a simple double page layout of the Plaza de Espana in Seville.  This was built for the World Fair in 1928.

January Scrapping

 Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a very happy Christmas and New Year.  Hopefully you were able to find some time to have a rest and some creative time.

My two layouts today are from our recent trip to Spain and Portugal.

We went to a Flamenco show in Seville - the home of Flamenco.  One of the benefits of going on a tour is that the tour manager knows the best places to go.  This is her favourite!

My favourite city that we visited is Porto in Portugal. We joined everyone else on the bridge for the sunset.  Worth the effort.  Another one of my favourites is Orange.  Just had to put them both together!
